Reactions As China Invents New Technology That Can Make Houses Move From One Place To Another

While we are talking about COVID-19 palliatives that were looted from various warehouses across Nigeria states, China has invented a powerful machine that can lift buildings no matter their size and move it to a new location.

The new technology known as the 'Walking Machine', China has made a tremendous success with it in lifting an 85-year-old building off the ground in its entirety and moved it to a new location.

The ancient building is a primary school that was built in the year 1935 in Shanghai, China and its relocation is the latest in the city's efforts to preserve historical structures.

According local authorities, this was first time this method has been used in Shanghai to relocate an historic building and the building is set to become a centre for heritage protection and cultural education, CNN said.

According to the chief technical supervisor on the project, he said engineers attached almost 200 mobile supports under the raised five storey building. This mobile supports acted like robotic legs.

The robotic legs then split into two groups - (alternately rise up and down to imitate how human walks) in order to move the building forward.

The Chief Technical Supervisor on the project, Land Wuji, went further to say that the robotic legs is like giving the building crutches so it can stand up and then walk.

It's gathered that workers first had to dig around the building in order to install the mobile supports in the space left underneath the school.

In a video making rounds online, it shows the moment the building rotated 21 degrees and walked like it was a human being for 62 meters to the new location.

Social media users who reacted to the new technology were seriously in awe and Nigerians expressed shock on what other countries are achieving while theirs is still talking about hiding palliatives.

EFCC Declares Founder of InksNation Wanted   November 11, 2020 0 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Omotade-Sparks Amos Sewanu of InksNation wanted for an alleged fraud worth N32 million while floating a digital currency called “Pinkoin”. The EFCC, in an advertorial published by The Nation newspaper on Wednesday, also accused Sewanu of obtaining money under false pretence and name-dropping.
