A bag of cement is no longer #5,000, here is the new price in Onitsha after ENDSARS protest - Photos.


Just a few days after raising alarm of hike in price of cement in Onitsha cum Anambra State at large there has been drastic change in price of cement.

A bag of cement was N2,500 before the end Special Anti-robbery squad (SARS) but during the nation wide protest cement increased to N5,000. Currently a bag of cement is now N3,000.


We are hopeful that things will continue to get better as various states are expected to open their business in this week. Anambra State government as at last week deployed special army squad in the state to ensure peaceful, smooth flowing of business come this week.

Cement is going down already, in the next few days we hope that it go down more to 2500 so that people who have pending projects can finish up.

1.  BREAKING:   North East elders ask Buhari to sack service chiefs. THE Coalition of North East Elders for Peace and Development, yesterday asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack his service chiefs, accusing the military of deploying massive strength during the #EndSARS protests in parts of the country, thereby leaving the zone at the mercy of Boko Haram, and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists. According to the elders, scores of civilians were killed as a result of the strategic and operational blunders, which they argued, was avoidable, had greater tact been adopted.
